This recipe book, published in 1881, is probably the oldest recipe book published in Argentina. Although thousands of copies were printed -a true best-seller- there are only two copies left: one in the National Library in Buenos Aires and the other in the National Library of France. And besides, who wrote it? The authors eventually found the name of the writer who appears in the recipe book as V.P.de P. Who was Virginia Pueyrredon de Pelliza?
