The book is about the corruption of certain characters in the City of Buenos Aires in the seventeenth century and the courageous probity of others who fought heroically to dignify the important position they were in charge of. Rich Porteños and poor Trinitarios, deals with the dichotomy of the inhabitants of the port of Buenos Aires – porteños – who devoted themselves to commerce and trinitarios, the original founders of the city, who devoted themselves to agriculture.
