Manuel Mujica Lainez’ short story in four languages: Spanish, English, German and French illustrated by Sophie le Comte has been published to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the author. It includes notes about the history of the Pas de Calais tiles, the houses of Buenos Aires in the last half of the xix century and a glossary to facilitate, especially to foreigners, the comprehension of the words included in the text.
